Nathan Van Vranken

Visiting Instructor, Biology/Geology

Nathan Van Vranken, visiting instructor of geology and biology at West Virginia University Potomac State College. He joined the teaching staff at the college in Fall 2019, having taught geology courses in Texas. He graduated in 2015 with a master’s degree in geology with a focus on vertebrate paleontology from the University of Texas of Permian Basin. Nathan teaches a wide array of classes consisting of the general biology labs, both human geography and world regional geography, and geology lecture and lab with an emphasis on the Appalachian, Coastal Plain, and Great Plains regions.
